This service is a real asset which will show you points of interest that are important to you and ensure that you keep your bearings. Choose your three favourite points of interest categories, such as filling stations, parking places or places to eat. These will then be shown to you at the top of the display screen, including the distance to the nearest POI. Alternatively, you can also choose to be shown three specific points of interest from one category, such as your three favourite fast food restaurants, for example.

NAVIGON MyBest POIs: for a better overview on the display
As an added extra, you can switch off this POI notification so that you have a better view of the display and then switch it on again when you need it. With MyBest POIs, irritating diversions are no longer an issue because you will now know exactly where and how far you need to travel until you reach the nearest services when the children are getting restless in the back again, for example. You can be shown detailed information, such as contact details, opening times, MERIAN reviews and a photo for every point of interest. Best of all, however: information on sights rated as particularly worth seeing will even be read out to you via speech output if you wish. Become an explorer – in the car, by bike or on foot!

Found out more about points of interest (POIs): if you touch on a point of interest displayed on the map, such as service stations or tourist attractions, you will receive valuable information, including addresses, opening hours and telephone numbers. You can also choose to be navigated there directly.

Traffic signs are displayed realistically for easier orientation.

You have the choice between different map displays: either navigate in the classic 2D mode, or in the 3D mode from a bird’s-eye view. The automatic scaling adjusts the map scale to the car’s current surroundings. So you always have a view of the route.

This option adjusts the map material display to the current light conditions. In darkness, the navigation switches automatically to night mode, and is displayed in darker colours. The light intensity is lessened and, therefore, will not startle you.
