The Active Lane Assistant feature from NAVIGON shows you in hectic traffic when you need to change lanes, in which direction and in plenty of time so you won’t miss the next exit. Safe and stress-free driving with NAVIGON.

Get in the right lane with Active Lane Assistant
Active Lane Assistant provides you with a realistic display of the road ahead, including bends, in the form of a dynamic travelling animation. An orange arrow in the animation points out which lane you need to be in. And to make sure you know ahead of time what is coming after the next bend, you will be shown up to the next four turns along the route ahead. A well-anticipated idea from NAVIGON!

Realistic display of cities – just like looking out of the window

Familiar with City View^3D from NAVIGON? Meet the new and improved City View^3D 2.0! This function displays cities as they really are – with a realistic display in 3D. Buildings are given realistic colours and roof shapes. Pavements along the road are raised slightly in the display. With this service, the images on your navigation device will be just like the view out of the window.

Know what lies ahead thanks to transparent displays of buildings

Images of nearby buildings in City View^3D 2.0 are transparent. This means you get a better display of your route, since the route display is no longer obstructed by buildings, nor by any special destinations ahead. This makes orientation easier and allows you to keep your eyes on the road ahead.

Fuel Live lets you know where the cheapest petrol stations are along your route or in your area. It provides you with all you need to know in real time about filling up your tank: for example, you will be shown the distance and the price per litre - depending on what type of fuel you use. And we can navigate you there - throughout Germany and in numerous other countries in Europe.

We’ll keep you informed about what is going on and where – with detailed information on the event’s location, duration and programme. Always know how far away you are from your favourite points of interest with NAVIGON MyBest POIs
This service is a real asset which will show you points of interest that are important to you and ensure that you keep your bearings. Choose your three favourite points of interest categories, such as filling stations, parking places or places to eat. These will then be shown to you at the top of the display screen, including the distance to the nearest POI. Alternatively, you can also choose to be shown three specific points of interest from one category, such as your three favourite fast food restaurants, for example.

NAVIGON MyBest POIs: for a better overview on the display
As an added extra, you can switch off this POI notification so that you have a better view of the display and then switch it on again when you need it. With MyBest POIs, irritating diversions are no longer an issue because you will now know exactly where and how far you need to travel until you reach the nearest services when the children are getting restless in the back again, for example. Stress-free travel with NAVIGON!

This function gives you a better overview. Once the One Click Menu function is activated, the NAVIGON MyBest POIs field at the top of your display and the menu bar and the bottom of the screen are automatically hidden. The main advantage of this is that you will be shown a larger area of the map and can therefore keep a better overview of the route. The display will only show the information that is relevant to you.

Reveal controls at the touch of a button

With a single click on the map, POIs and the menu bar are revealed again, and you can use your navigation device as normal. A while after you have stopped clicking on your navigation device, these controls are automatically hidden and you will see a large view of the map in your display. You can also choose to keep the POI display up at all times. A NAVIGON innovation for safe driving with an eye on the road ahead.

Explore the sights with NAVIGON Sightseeing
A good idea by NAVIGON and MERIAN scout: with the NAVIGON Sightseeing inspired by MERIAN scout service, you can explore city and countryside sights in 18 European countries. Nearby sights are shown on the display screen and you can choose to be navigated to them directly.

NAVIGON Sightseeing: interesting information on points of interest
You can be shown detailed information, such as contact details, opening times, MERIAN reviews and a photo for every point of interest. Best of all, however: information on sights rated as particularly worth seeing will even be read out to you via speech output if you wish. Become an explorer – in the car, by bike or on foot!
