Active Lane Assistant provides you with a realistic display of the road ahead, including bends, in the form of a dynamic travelling animation. An orange arrow in the animation points out which lane you need to be in. And to make sure you know ahead of time what is coming after the next bend, you will be shown up to the next four turns along the route ahead. A well-anticipated idea from NAVIGON!

With Extended Destination Information, you can find out interesting information on your destination area before you even set off on your journey.

Getting in lane made easy: with NAVIGON Reality View Pro, you’ll be informed in good time about motorway junctions and when you need to change lanes. Thanks to photo-realistic displays of exits and the actual junction number, you’ll be able to follow the signs. So you will always have your bearings.

You can transfer saved favourites from one device to the other via email. From iPhone to iPad, or vice versa.

With the new “connect to Facebook and Twitter” feature, you can let your “friends” and “followers” know where you currently are, where you are heading and what time you should be arriving. With just a few clicks, you can publish this information on your Facebook or Twitter profile via your iPhone – even with a Google Maps link. If you are navigating using your NAVIGON MobileNavigator, your destination and your estimated arrival time will be posted to both social networking sites. If you are not currently on the move, your present location will be posted.

Have you come across a change in traffic, such as a new roundabout? NAVIGON MyReport allows you to report changes in the road network by entering information directly. Once they’ve been thoroughly checked by experts, your reports will be incorporated into one of our latest map releases.

Whatever kind of driver you are, NAVIGON MyRoutes recommends the best route every time, adapted to your personal driving style, the day of the week and the time of day. In addition, your MobileNavigator also displays up to two further possible routes.

Panorama View^3D shows you the landscape in your display, not as a flat image, but in 3D with mountains and valleys. This realistic display of your surroundings makes it easier to understand the direction of the road and the landscape.

Lane Assistant Pro helps you to make your way through even the most hectic traffic situations. It provides you with a clear look ahead, showing you whether you need to change lanes for this turn and the next.

Smart route planning: NAVIGON Truck Navigation shows you the best route for your vehicle type (lorry, delivery vans and motorhomes). You can therefore safely avoid roads on which lorries or motorhomes are not permitted, narrow roads, bridges and tunnels with low height clearances. In addition, this service will also navigate the way to over 16,000 additional points of interest, such as filling stations, shops that are open around the clock or HGV washes.

Thanks to Traffic Check you can now view current traffic announcements along your route in the preview. That way you’ll know all about any possible problems before you even set off.

Focus all your attention on driving: NAVIGON Text-to-Speech provides you with precise announcements that tell you the names of streets and exits, as well as the direction and distance.

NAVIGON keeps an eye on your speed: the Speed Assistant provides audio-visual warnings as soon as you exceed the legal speed limit.

You have the choice between different map displays: either navigate in the classic 2D mode, or in the 3D mode from a bird’s-eye view. The automatic scaling adjusts the map scale to the car’s current surroundings. So you always have a view of the route.

This option adjusts the map material display to the current light conditions. In darkness, the navigation switches automatically to night mode, and is displayed in darker colours. The light intensity is lessened and, therefore, will not startle you.

Access your iPhone address book directly via the "Contacts" option in MobileNavigator. Navigate your way quickly and directly to your friends or acquaintances without having to exit the application.

Use the iPod symbol on the map to select your playlist with a single click. Afterwards, you can switch straight back to navigation mode. Exceptionally safe: when the navigation software is making a voice announcement, the volume of the music is automatically turned down.

Select a destination or save your current position and simply email it to friends. If they are also using MobileNavigator, just a single click will navigate them to the destination indicated. Arranging to meet could hardly be easier.

Coordinate entry offers the option of entering a destination by its coordinates. This provides a valuable alternative to the standard address entry for finding campsites, for example.
