NAVIGON as an employer

If you want to help shape personal mobility, and find new ways of guiding people to their destination reliably, safely and in a relaxed manner, NAVIGON is the right place for you. NAVIGON has been delivering award-winning innovations associated with navigation since 1991. Dynamic GPS navigation, TMC diversion, mobile pocket PC navigation systems: NAVIGON stands for progress in mobility.

Our goal is to make life and travel easier for people with our navigation solutions. We love welcoming new employees who share our enthusiasm and passion for products that lead the way.

Worldwide, NAVIGON employs some 400 people in Europe, Asia and North America. Over 220 people are employed in Germany, either in sales and marketing in Hamburg, or in R&D, product management, quality control and administration in Würzburg. All NAVIGON locations work closely together at an international level – which raises standards and increases career opportunities.

We don’t really have predefined career paths. Independence of thought and action are required. And good ideas, too, of course! If you have plenty of those, your prospects are good – particularly if you join us as a software developer with a degree in IT, electronics, maths or physics. Some experience in developing mobile applications would also be useful. Enthusiasm for navigation is essential.

Exam candidates can provide evidence of their enthusiasm with a final thesis on a subject relevant to the company. We also welcome applications from students looking for a minimum of a 20-week placement in development or marketing. For this, we require a good command of English, an interest in consumer electronics, and most importantly, a team spirit. There are also trainee places available to school leavers and new graduates with a penchant for software: NAVIGON trains future IT specialists to work in system integration or application development.

Whether you join us as a professional, student or trainee, you can navigate securely to your personal professional goal with the NAVIGON team!
