Android update for NAVIGON MobileNavigator and birthday app “help2park” available

The new free MobileNavigator 3.5.4 update for the Europe- and all regional versions is now available for Android smartphones. The software expands the full versions of the navigation app to include the “NAVIGON Pedestrian Flashlight” function, which uses the LED-flash on the smartphone as a torch. In addition, the update supports the new Android 2.3 operating system (Gingerbread) and also runs on the Samsung Galaxy S I9000 and the Galaxy Tab. NAVIGON now also offers a design car kit for the Samsung Galaxy S I9000 to safely attach the device to the front windscreen of the car.

The “help2park” app can be downloaded from the Android Market and helps drivers to find a parking space wherever they are in the world using data from Google Maps. Help2park is the first app out of a series that NAVIGON is releasing this year to mark its 20th anniversary. Alongside the Android operating system it is also available for iOS on the iPhone.
