Device doesn't work anymore after using NAVIGON Fresh

If your device does not work anymore after using NAVIGON Fresh, please follow these steps:


1.     Make sure you are using the newest version of NAVIGON Fresh.
        If there is a newer version available, please install it.

2.     Please check your USB connection. If necessary, try using
        another device or USB cable.

3.     Make sure your internet connection is fast and works accurate.

4.     Check whether you have administrator rights.

5.     If you use a firewall, please check the configuration settings.
        Port 21 and ports greater then 1023 should be released
        (standard value for FTP data transfer). With some firewalls
        FTP must be only admitted as a protocol. Please contact your
        firewall provider for further inquires regarding it.

6.     Please check, which error message is displayed. This
        information will be required if you decide to contact the
        customer support.

7.     If you made a backup of your device in the past, then
        perform a backup recovery.

8.     If the problem remains, please restore your device.

9.     If the recovery is unsuccessful, you can send in / pick up your device.
