NAVIGON questions and answers

There are several ways to find out which navigation maps are being used by your navigation system:

A: On the navigation device

A.     Older versions than MN8: Go to "Options" - Settings" -
        "Map Display" scroll to the end and read out the information.

B.     MN8: Select the “More button“ - "Navigation Settings” -
        “Map Display” there you will get the information.
        

B: With NAVIGON Fresh

1.     Connect your navigation device via USB-cable to your computer.
        - or -
        Insert the memory card from your navigation device into
        the card reader of your computer.

2.     Start NAVIGON Fresh.

3.     Click on "My system". Note: Before you buy any navigation
        maps, be sure to check whether the maps you want to
        purchase are suitable for your navigation system (maps
        from different navigation systems are not compatible with
        each other) or really not more up-to-date than those
        which you are already using.

Note: For recent navigation systems you can subscribe to NAVIGON FreshMaps.Then you will always have access to the most up-to-date navigation maps for a time of 2 years.

With newer versions of our navigation software, the issue date of the navigation maps in question is indicated in the file name:

▪     TA200708.map Version 2007/2008
▪     NT2008.map
▪     TA2008.map Version 2008

With older versions, the issue date of the maps can be derived from the following table:

▪     MN61.map Version 2006/2007
