How do I perform a softreset?
Answer:

The instructions for a softreset are depending on the type of device. To perform a softreset, please choose your device from the list below and follow the instructions.

For the NAVIGON 20s, NAVIGON 70/72s, NAVIGON 92s, 33xx, 43xx, 63xx, 72xx/73xx, 81xx/83xx, 84xx series:

        Use a thin object to press the reset button located on the bottom
        of the device. The software will now be restarted.

For the NAVIGON 40/42s series:

        Use a thin object to press the reset button located on the left
        side of the device. The software will now be restarted.

For the 12xx, 13xx, 22xx, 23xx series:

1.     Use a thin object to press the reset button located on the right
        side of the device. The device will be switched off.

2.     Press the power button for at least 10 seconds to switch the
        device back on.

For the 14xx, 24xx, 25xx series:

1.     Use a thin object to press the reset button located on the bottom
        to the right of the device. The device will be switched off.

2.     Press the power button for at least 10 seconds to switch the
        device back on.
