How can I calibrate the touchscreen?
Answer:

Most devices have the option to calibrate the touch screen. This way the displayed software buttons match exactly to your input click. Generally when you first start your device you will be asked automatically to calibrate the touch screen. If not, you can always perform a calibration manually. In this case, please follow these instructions:

MN7:
"Options" - "Settings" - "Options" – "Touch screen Calibration".

MN8:
“More Button” more  - “Settings” - “Hardware” - "Touch screen Calibration".

Please note: This option is not available for glass display devices.

In both cases a white screen with black text and a black cross will appear. Follow the instructions on the screen. During the calibration process you have to click several crosses. Just use your finger or a stylus pen (with older devices)

If you constantly have to re-calibrate or determine that the calibration once you switching off/on the device is maladjusted again, this may be caused by:

•     The SD memory card is write protected.
•     The map material in the SD memory card is write protected.
