Most PDAs come equipped with basic office software (word processing, spreadsheet, picture viewer, address database). Data and files can be synchronised with what is saved on a PC. PDAs with a Microsoft operating system are often referred to as "PocketPCs". Many modern PDAs can play back music (mp3) and videos and record voice memos.
To find out which features are offered by a particular PDA, go to the manufacturer's website and consult the product information.
