What does the name of the navigation map mean?

You can find out which navigation map you own by going in the navigation software under
"Options" - "Settings" - "Map Display" (scroll there to the last site of the menu).

NAVIGON only uses map material from NAVTEQ. By the file name you can identify the maps and find out information about the status of the map you are using.

Example: "Europe Version Q1 2011"

▪     Europe: country / region in use

▪     Q1 2011: Release date first quarter 2011
(The release date tells you in which period the map data
can be referred as being actual.)

Use NAVIGON Fresh for more detailed information about the map material and other administration and extension opportunities. Just connect your device via USB with your computer and open the menu point "My System" or "Maps & Services".
