How I can expand the disk capacity of my NAVIGON device?
Answer:

The navigation software and maps are stored either on the SD card or internal memory of the NAVIGON device. Through the use of larger amounts of storage (e.g. music files, pictures, large countries / continental maps), it may happen that the available space is no longer sufficient.

To still be able to use all the services you want, it is possible to expand the memory through the use of SD cards.

The following devices can be expanded with a SD Card (max. 2GB):

Transonic 6000
Transonic 7000

The following devices can be expanded with a 4GB SD card:

NAVIGON 2100 | 2110

For expanding the memory of your device, we recommend SD or microSD cards from SanDisk.

Please be aware that the SD cards are provided without the software and maps.
Note also that some card readers cannot read SD cards larger than 2GB or SDHC cards.
