You can transfer saved favourites from one device to the other via email. From iPhone to iPad, or vice versa.

With the new feature 'Connection to Facebook and Twitter' you can keep your friends and followers up-to-date about where you are, your destination und your estimated arrival time. With only a few clicks you can publish this information on your Facebook or Twitter profile - even with a Google Maps link. If you are navigated by your NAVIGON MobileNavigator, your destination and the estimated time of arrival will be posted von both social network platforms. If you are not driving, your current position will be posted.

Access your iPhone address book directly via the "Contacts" option in MobileNavigator. Navigate your way quickly and directly to your friends or acquaintances without having to exit the application.

You have the choice between different map displays: either navigate in the classic 2D mode, or in the 3D mode from a bird’s-eye view. The automatic scaling adjusts the map scale to the car’s current surroundings. So you always have a view of the route.

This option adjusts the map material display to the current light conditions. In darkness, the navigation switches automatically to night mode, and is displayed in darker colours. The light intensity is lessened and, therefore, will not startle you.

Use the iPod symbol on the map to select your playlist with a single click. Afterwards, you can switch straight back to navigation mode. Exceptionally safe: when the navigation software is making a voice announcement, the volume of the music is automatically turned down.

Coordinate entry offers the option of entering a destination by its coordinates. This provides a valuable alternative to the standard address entry for finding campsites, for example.
