Diploma thesis: Object-oriented realization of the semi-recovered incremental Horizon Reconstructor for an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)
Project:
Object-oriented realization of the semi-recovered incremental Horizon Reconstructor for an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS)
The target of the project is the object-oriented design and implementation of the Client part of an Advanced Driver Assistance system named ADAS Reconstructor: this part of the system processes and stores the information incrementally provided by the ADAS Server module and allows an external application to access it via specially developed API.
Your perspectives:
- You work in a professional team with the professional support
- You follow through the whole cycle of the software development from task analysis till integrating of ready-to-use module into the existing system
- You will learn more about specific automotive area like development of embedded systems, using CAN bus, etc.
- You will learn more about the object-oriented design and immediately use this knowledge in your current tasks
- You will improve your programming skills and get an impression how to work with complex projects and how to develop complex software
Your responsibilities:- You analyze the existing requirements specification
- Using Object-oriented approach you design the Reconstructor component as well as the extended version of the communication protocol allowing error detection and recovering the Horizon from specific errors
- You create Architecture Design Specification for the component and for the new software modules using C++ language
- You extend the implementation of the specified API based on the provided specification and new architecture solution
- You perform testing and integrating of the new sub-system into existing system
Your profile:- You have a good knowledge of applied mathematics
- You have experience to develop programs in C and C++
- You are familiar with MS Visual Studio and MS Office products
- You have good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design as well as basic knowledge of UML
