(Hamburg/Germany), 24.05.05 - For the first time this year, Germany's most successful
woman racer, Ellen Lohr, heads for the start with her main sponsor, NAVIGON. NAVIGON
now offers an exclusive opportunity to all rally enthusiasts and interested users to follow
the tracks of Ellen Lohr and accompany the rally driver online. At
http://navigon.com/ellenlohr a special tracking system shows the current position of the
rally driver in each stage, with the position data being updated every 30 minutes.
Start and end of the 5-day-rally ORPI Maroc (25th - 29th May) is Agadir at the Morrocan
coast. From the metropolis the route leads down the coast to Oued Chebika and
Laayoune and back to Agadir, where the participants will be be awaited at May 29th 2005
after the rally with a total distance of 2.123 kilometres.
First key data promise an interesting event: all top teams of the FIA Marathonrally World
Cup will be attending. With the starting number 210 Ellen Lohr and co-pilot Holm Schmidt
are fully satisfied: "Given the dusty pistes it can be of advantage to enter the rally already
at the 11th position. Like this the sight hopefully will still be good and at the same time
