In the UK, the NAVIGON 2110 max achieved a score of 9 out of 10 and was awarded the 'Recommended' logo by Trusted Reviews, the online product review and IT news website run by ex-editors of PC Pro, Computer Buyer and other well know UK IT titles. Highlights of the review include 9/10 for value, 9/10 for performance and 9/10 for features. You could say NAVIGON swept the board and achieved an almost perfect result!

NAVGION 2100|2110 scored well in the TÜV Service Test

NAVIGON 2100|2110 obtains the result "good (1,70)" in a customer satisfaction analysis by TÜV Saarland, an independent and accredited testing institution in Germany. Overall 1.563 owners of a NAVIGON 2100|2110 were involved in the survey. The testing process was footed on a questionnaire which asked for general requirements and subsequently elaborated on the NAVIGON device in particular. The entry level PNA of NAVIGON product family was checked in detail - with an impressive result!

„honourable mention“ for NAVIGON 8110

Not available on the market yet, NAVIGON 8110 already achieves a distinction: high-end device of NAVIGON product family is awarded with a prize, which has been given for the first time. With the "reddot design award honourable mention 2008" the design experts have honoured "…products that stand out thanks to particularly successful design details. Such an honourable mention shall encourage companies and designers to invest more in design and quality and to continue on the path taken."

The official presentation of prizes will take place an 23rd of June 2008 in Essen (Germany). This year about 3.203 participations from 51 countries have been recogniced.

Test in magazine„connect“: NAVIGON 2100 is the number one

Always on top: In September the NAVIGON 7110 was rated "very good" by the German leading special interest magazine "connect". Now the new NAVIGON 2100 wins the recent low budget PNA-test. The editors checked six navigation devices for about 200 Euros and highlighted the "outstanding price-performance ratio" of the NAVIGON 2100 in the current issue.

Positively mentioned is the TMC-receiver for free. Additionally, NAVIGON 2100 is given credit for best navigation features, clear menu, detailed maps and "almost perfect voice commands". Conclusion: Once again a crystal clear recommendation for NAVIGON.

Telematics Update Detroit is the world's leading summit focusing on wireless automotive technology. The annual event was attended by around 1000 executive board members and decision makers of the telematics industry's. The event took place from May 22nd to 23rd 2007 at Detroit.

PDA Essentials UK magazine, issue 61-2007, tested the best of the new range of large screened personal navigation assistants (PNA).

And they love it: NAVIGON TS 7000T Europe has a bright 4.3" screen, a good display and an extensive feature set including e.g. traffic jam avoidance, speed cameras, European maps. Route calculations and timeliness of warning are excellent - and the software is nicely designed.

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has joined forces with NAVIGON to launch a pioneering initiative between a hotel group and supplier of satellite navigation systems. The partnership will produce Special Edition InterContinental Hotels Group packs exclusively featuring the hotel brand logos - InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Express by Holiday Inn.

To mark the occasion, three Holiday Inn branded racing cars will be travelling from London to Berlin to test drive the new joint venture. Driving the cars in three different guest styles - family, business and the older generation - they will use the new partnership and stay at the hotels highlighted along the way.

At the IFA fair 2006 in Berlin, NAVIGON will be presenting a new portable navigation device developed in collaboration with the Porsche Design Group. It combines a sophisticated, purist design with outstanding functionality, mature technology and high precision.

NAVIGON technology delivers groundbreaking functions for the P'9611: The integrated TMC (Traffic Message Channel) function automatically supplies the driver with alternative routes that avoid traffic jams or obstacles in heavy traffic. The lane assistant is particularly useful when the driver encounters complicated junctions. On multi-lane roads the software displays which lane the driver needs to choose to follow the route with ease. Furthermore, the volume of the navigation messages is automatically adapted to the vehicle's speed, and consequently to the driving noise.

The visual appeal of the P'9611 is based on its timelessly classic design, its high quality of manufacture, its extremely flat construction and the elegant cradle. In addition to having an ultra-sensitive GPS receiver, the unit is equipped with a powerful Bluetooth hands-free facility. It also has a technically mature dual audio system that is concealed not only in the device itself, but in the cradle as well. The navigation system includes digital maps of 37 countries in Europe.
