The gaining of both a prestigious international red dot design award and an EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) award, positions NAVIGON as leading the way in the design of satellite navigation devices.

The red dot product design 2008 award was presented to the NAVIGON 7210 for its "clear, reduced and finely shaped design" that "together with a matching bracket … creates a formal unit and appears to hover elegantly above the dashboard." (www.red-dot.de).

With more than 10,000 submissions from 60 countries, the international red dot design award ranks among the largest and most famous design competitions in the world. The international jury, made up of renowned designers and design experts, reviews and evaluates entries according to innovation, functionality and quality. EISA, the worlds most prestigious multimedia magazines association, is formed by the association of 50 special interest magazines from 19 European countries. Its internationally renown European EISA Awards are presented each year by the editors-in-chief from all EISA member magazines to products analyzed in their publications during the past year.
